Just outside of Kunming, are the Stone Forest and the town of DaliSports played in Kunming: basketball, volleyball, judo, fencing, and martial artsFamous food in Kunming: Steam Potted Chicken, Over the Bridge Rice Noodles, Er Kuai (Rice Cakes), Smoked Smelly Bean Curd, The Eight Treasures of Yunnan.The Kunming people are content with their lives, and are not of a competitive nature. The tempo of life in Kunming is leisurely. The tempo of life in Kunming is like that of a film montage - diverse but advancing. It is therefore a good place to live -- one where fortunes can be made in an atmosphere of leisure and contentment.
